As part of our nine-day training program aboard the Curlew, you will spend three to five days on an accompanying lifeboat. As part of this small-boat expedition training, you’ll need to pilot the lifeboat from point X to point Z using old-school navigation skills. 

You will have oars, sails, an experienced trainer, and some limited supplies, but no GPS. No engines. No support from the outside. Just you and the Salish Sea. It sounds hard because it is. Our training program is purposely tough to give you all the skills to be a thorough seaman.
